Trip of a lifetime...

To top off the wonderful wedding festivities, Matt and I decided to take an extended honeymoon - spending 3 wks traveling through northern Spain, southern France and northern Italy. Here are a few of my favorite photos from our journey abroad... (not in the order of our trip)

Ahhh, Venice...we spent our last 3 nights here and it was INCREDIBLE. I can't wait to go back. I think going in October (rather than in summer) made it truly amazing...fewer tourists, beautiful Fall weather and just absolutely gorgeous everything.

Southern France...we fell in love with Provence. The colors, landscape, vineyards, architecture...driving across the country through rolling hills. Magical.

Lourmarin, France below...probably my favorite place in Europe. So, so small...we were one of very few tourists. Somewhat "hidden" gem, a bit of a drive from anywhere else. Tucked away in the hills...

Gordes, France below...another gem that we literally stumbled upon when driving through endless hills and vineyards...it just appears as you come around a corner. Matt and I were totally blown away...a secluded ancient village...so beautiful and peaceful. The following photo is of one of our favorite places that we stayed - a charming and gorgeous villa in St. Remy, and the last picture is driving through St. Remy...the trees are amazing!!!!
Tuscany...another unforgettable part of our journey. Much like Provence, a magical place...

The never-ending vineyards and olive groves...this is the property of one of the villas where we had the pleasure of staying.

San Sebastian, Spain...a "must" for anyone traveling to northern Spain. Very small, old fisherman's town. The architecture here was like nothing I'd ever seen...breathtaking.

Biarritz, France...and our fab, modern B&B. Did Jonathan Adler make his way here???

Monaco, below...just a quick stop through on our way from France to Italy...but it was one of the most beautiful days during our travels. Warm, cozy...quite a site to see.
Bilbao, Spain...the Guggenheim. Totally worth taking a day-trip here if in northern Spain to see the museum...unbelievable.

We can't wait to go back!!! If you ever need any input re: hotels, trains, eats, must-see's in any of these regions, please don't hesitate to reach out! We stayed in some AMAZING places during our travels and I'd love to pass along details.
